Oriel
Limited was founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of ECTA group
of Companies. It was then located at the Subaru Kenya premises
along Addis Ababa Road in industrial area Nairobi. Oriel
originally started selling Bearings, Fan and Timing Belts.
Oriel Limited has always believed in offering quality services
and original products.
At Oriel the Client comes
first
Oriel went on to acquire the
agency to sell and distribute Monroe Shock Absorbers thus
becoming the sole distributor in Kenya. Monroe is a brand
of Tenneco Automotive, the world's leading producer and
marketer of ride control and systems. We have a commitment
to making driving a safer and more environmentally friendly
experience. Monroe has developed models specifically designed
and tested for all major automobile manufacturers from
passenger cars through light commercial trucks and vans,
heavy duty vehicles to high performance off-road vehicles.
In September 1999 Oriel Ltd
relocated from Addis Ababa Road to Mombasa Road. This move
was made to strategically locate Oriel Limited, also following
with Oriel's commitment to quality of service. Oriel Limited
then went on to open the Monroe Fitting Center.
Our Monroe Fitting Center
started on a very small note in year 2000. It started by
offering shock absorbers free fitting service with only
one mechanic and a few tools. Over the years it has developed
to a full fledge fitting center offering shocks and spring
fitting, wheel alignment, wheel balancing and other suspension
related jobs. To summarize some of the products & services

Coil Springs to add on to its quality line of
products in year 2001. King Springs are performance replacement
springs from Australia. King Springs is Australia's leading
specialist manufacturer of aftermarket coil springs for
world-wide, automotive applications. With internal capabilities
to design, develop, manufacture and warehouse volumes
between 20 - 500 units per part number. King Springs
service all sectors of the automotive market including
passenger, commercial and Four Wheel Drive, vehicles
and various motorsport categories including circuit,
rally, speedway and off-road racing. King Springs are
market leaders in advanced progressive rate type springs
in both variable pitch and tapered wire design.
Oriel Limited has also acquired
the dealership for supplying Yokohama Tyres.
Yokohama Rubber Company is the seventh largest tire manufacturer
in the world.
